short films for the questions of the night.
pick your language ↓there are hours, at night, when the questions come back and sit on the edge of the bed.

the first film comes out on sunday 11 october. then two a week, wednesday and sunday: they show up here as soon as they're out, no searching required.
six or seven minutes on a single question. the ones that arrive when the house is quiet and the phone is still on: loneliness, work that makes no sense, love, the fear of being happy. with the thinkers who got there before us.
we don't sell answers: the internet has dumped enough of those on you already. we hand you back the questions, the ones that rekindle the light you carry, your spark. images engraved in night ink, every word also on screen, one light on.

concept: alessandro facchini. art direction: claude (anthropic). plates generated with gpt image 2.5 on higgsfield and animated in code.
people always ask who really makes it. honest answer: super intelligence (SI) does the work of a whole crew, alessandro facchini decides what gets said, how it looks and when it comes out. every film goes through him, from the idea to publication.
every month a radar listens to what people search for, language by language. which questions deserve a film is alessandro's call.
it is born in a writers' room where SI proposes, checks the sources and bans repetition. the text is written and signed by alessandro.
engraved plates and original music, generated with SI within a visual line he set, and checked one by one before the edit.
the voice is alessandro's, recreated with artificial intelligence. the other five languages are rewritten by one agent and checked by another, which listens back to every sentence.
no agent presses it. films are uploaded as private, and he is the one who puts them online.
there is always a human-in-the-loop. and it gets the last word.
short essay films work on youtube: the channels that do them well count millions of subscribers, with a few minutes on everyday questions.
the thing is, they almost all speak english. in italian, and in half of europe, that space is empty. orepiccole starts there: six channels, a film made for each language — not dubbed, not subtitled — and always the same voice.
and some people have to get others asking the questions: schools, companies, anyone who trains people. for them, from january 2027, the films are licensable in packages.

one per language, all with the same name. pick the one you can't sleep in.
a company, a school, a stubborn idea: we build essay-film series like this one, in your voice, on our machine. write to us at hello@thesmallmediacompany.com.
orepiccole is reflection and popular education, not therapy.
